Questions & Answers
NEWBORN SESSIONS
Q: When should I book my newborn session?
A: You should start thinking about booking your newborn session around 25-30 weeks just to be on the safe side. I may not always be available to you last minute if you wait too long to book.
Q: At what age should my newborn session take place?
A: I typically like to photograph newborn sessions between 5-14 days old. The older a newborn gets, the less likely it is for sleepy poses. Also, the older babies get, the less flexible/squishy they tend to be. With that said, I will attempt newborn style photos with any newborn up to 1.5 months old.
Q: How long does a newborn session last?
A: Typical newborn sessions last between 2-4 hours depending on baby's cooperation.
Q: Does SCP provide the props?
A: Yes, SCP provides everything you'll need for your newborn session. Items include: baskets, buckets, blankets, fur stuffers, flokati, beanbag backdrops, newborn outfits, headbands, tiebacks, and different wood backdrops to choose from.
Q: Do I get to choose from the props you have for my newborn's session?
A: Yes, I have a plethora of props/outfits and we will work together to plan your newborn session ahead of time.
Q: Can I print baby announcements through a lab that you don't allow?
A: All baby announcements may be printed through any lab that SCP allows. You may not print through Walmart or drug store labs.
Q: How long will it take to receive my proofing gallery?
A: Your proofing gallery will be delivered within 3-7 business days after the session takes place.
Q: How long will it take to receive my final gallery?
